On the paper that comes with the package of the vest, it tells the different sizes the vest comes in and what breeds of dogs fit each size. They dont show that information on the page here on amazon so I had to guess which would be best for my dog. Unfortunately I ordered a large when, apparently, I should have ordered a medium. If the seller would have included the size chart on their page, I wouldnt have wasted $24 on a vest my dog cant use. I gave it three stars because,on a postive note, the vest looks very well made and is brighter than I expected (very good thing). I also like that it clips together instead of using velcro.

This vest had exactly what I was looking for: A lack of Velcro. It seems like many vests use Velcro fasteners and in my experience, they're just not rugged enough for an active dog. But this vest has the plastic fasteners like backpacks use, which is perfect for my twice-a-day, walkin'-in-the-dark dog. The vest only has two fasteners, but depending on the size of your dog's head, you may be able to keep the neck straps fastened and just slip the vest over his head. This works well for my 60-pound flat coat retriever. Then it's just buckling the abdominal strap and off you go; quick-on, quick-off. I have no complaints about this vest. However, it does appear that the reflective strips might be prone to scratches from bushes and branches. I'll keep my eye on them as the vest gets older and report back later. Until then, neither Rover nor I are afraid of the dark.
